FIFA has taken up a fancy project for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The 'robot' can act as an assistant referee in this event. Such is the plan of the highest body of world football.

In this regard, FIFA Director of Technology Johannes Holzmুলller said that according to the plan, offside decisions will be made automatically through computer technology instead of assistant referees in the new project.

In this case, if a footballer crosses the line, the alarm will sound. It's a lot like goalline technology. It will even show which part of the body is offside. It will also consider the size of the player's feet.
This robotic technology, however, has already been tested last December. The club won the World Cup in Qatar, where Liverpool won the title.
